Reality TV star Diem Brown died on Friday, Nov. 14 at a New York City hospital surrounded by family and friends, US Weekly reports. Brown, who rose to fame on MTV's "Real World/Road Rules Challenge," was very open about her long-time battle with cancer. She was 32.

One of Brown's last tweets was on Nov. 11 when she asked her fans to pray for her.

"I NEED PRAyERs and advice my doctors are seemingly giving up but I won't & can't rollover," she tweeted. "Whatever option I have to LIVE I'm grabbing!... Need prayers, advice, support & outreach. No is not an option."

Her family has not yet released an official statement announcing Brown's passing. On Nov. 12, E! News host Alicia Quarles - who is also close friends with Brown - gave an update and said that the reality star wasn't doing well but was still fighting for her life.

"Diem went into the hospital on Sunday but her family is amazing. He father is here, her sisters, her brothers, all of her friends, we've been surrounding her non-stop. Last night wasn't a good night, but... the doctors said 'anybody else would not have survived last night, but Diem continues to amaze them.' She is stable now, today is a good day and that's all we can ask for."

Brown first revealed she was battling cancer back in 2006 when doctors diagnosed her with ovarian cancer. She was 23 at the time. In 2012, the MTV star announced that her cancer had returned, and this past August she said doctors found that the cancer had spread to her stomach and colon.

In October, Brown was dealt a major setback when she was told that the cancer was also in her liver and lymph nodes. According to US Weekly, Brown had just started a new chemotherapy plan and was scheduled to receive a second dose on Nov. 18.
