Not too long ago I wrote a piece about a speculative, animated opening for a "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" show that never existed. That short was very cool, but what I stumbled across today may be even cooler. These are a wicked set of maquettes/statues for many characters from the hit, 1990s TV series. They aren't in a realistic style though; they have more of an anime/cartoony vibe, much like the aforementioned trailer, and that look works for these characters very, very well.
The designs come from Electric Tiki and they are being distributed by Sideshow Collectibles. As I wrote in the article about the animated video, I was never a huge fan of the show, but this collection is undeniably cool. The characters shown here include: Buffy, Spike, Faith, Willow, Dark Willow, Caleb, and Gloria.
