UP TV pulled reruns of "7th Heaven" in early October after TMZ released a recording of Stephen Collins allegedly admitting to sexually molesting underage girls. A month later, the family-oriented channel decided to start re-airing the show after fans expressed their ability to separate the wholesome programming with the real-life scandal.

It turns out that they couldn't.

The show returned to the Uplifting Entertainment channel on Nov. 10. Viewers noticed and immediately wrote in to express their outrage with the decision.

"We have received a mixed to negative response regarding the show on Facebook and in viewer emails," UP TV said in a statement to E! News. "Clearly, a show that has been a fan favorite series for us has been severely impacted."

Due to the backlash, UP TV has decided to pull the reruns again.

"We brought the show back because many viewers expressed they could separate allegations against one actor from the fictional series itself, as it turns out they cannot," the statement said. "We will be taking the show back off the air."

Collins played Rev. Eric Camden on the former WB series that ran for 11 seasons (the last season ran on The CW network). Each episode dealt with real life issues that affected the Camdens, their friends, neighbors or people of Eric's congregation.

At the time of the allegations against Collins, UP TV President and CEO Charley Humbard couldn't confirm whether his channel would bring the program back on the airwaves.

"Too early to say," Humbard told E! News on Oct. 8. "We are getting a lot of fan mail. It was a very popular show, but the longer this goes, the trend [from fans] has really trended towards, 'We understand this is a mess, but are you going to bringing our show back?'"

TV Guide Network (soon to be POP) also pulled its reruns of "7th Heaven" and the ABC series "Scandal" cut a scene featuring Collins that had already been shot.
