Nicki Minaj ended her 15-year relationship with Safaree Samuels recently-and the aftermath of the breakup has been tumultuous for both. Even though the "Anaconda" rapper has accused her ex-boyfriend of threatening to blackmail her following their split, she has declared she is unafraid because "God is real" and God sees Samuels "ungrateful evil soul."

Minaj broke down while opening up about the breakup during a radio interview with Angie Martinez last week. On Friday, she offered that Samuels, her one-time hype man, was struggling with the split and that he could be on be suicidal.

When a fan asked Samuels on Twitter if he'd seen Minaj's recent emotion interview, Samuels tweeted "ive been hearing but I dnt watch em... hurts 2 much..."

Minaj clearly seems to be relying on her faith to get her through this tough period. In tweets aimed at Samuels she proclaimed that she remains fearless because "God is in control."

"Even when I try to protect ppl, they still try to take advantage of me. Haven't u learned that God is in control? Stop while you're ahead," she wrote. "Anything you don't appreciate will be taken. God sees your ungrateful evil soul. I gave and gave and gave. Threatening me? Blackmail? Jump ... No one put fear in my heart!!!! Cus I know God is real!!!"

Minaj is among the highest-selling female MCs in the world, and she recently made history for having racked up the most appearances on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Last month she surpassed "King of Pop" Michael Jackson with the help of her new single "Bed of Lies," which marked 56 chart entries on the Hot 100 according to Forbes.com.

The Grammy-nominated artist has credited God as being one of her heroes and Minaj's mother, Carol, who is a gospel artist, has declared that her daughter's success can be attributed to prayer.

"My life as a Christian and believer was opened to Onika. As her career continued to thrive, she developed more concerns about life," Carol told The Christian Post in June. "She knew I believed in the power of prayer, therefore, she constantly called me and our pastor, to pray for different concerns she may have ... I believe by her acknowledging the power of prayer, and her strong desire to tithe together with a praying mother, contributed to her success."

When Minaj was asked about the possibility of a reconciliation with Samuels during her radio interview with Martinez, she stated, "I think I'm beyond that point now because I've found so much peace now. It's kind of like now I don't want to go back to feeling like how I was feeling. But I don't know what life holds, I don't know what the future holds. If it's meant to be, it'll be. And if it's not meant to be then thank God we got out now before there were children involved, because I would hate to do that."
