Selena Gomez and DJ Zedd have worked closely for the last few months on a new single, and their fans will finally get to hear it later this month.
Both artists revealed the track's title, "I Want You To Know," and release date, Feb. 23, on their Instagram accounts on Friday. The posts also included the cover art for the single, which features colorful drawings of the DJ and pop singer.
"MY NEW SINGLE 'I WANT YOU TO KNOW' ft. @selenagomez IS COMING OUT ON 2/23!!!!!!! WRITING ALL CAPS LOCK BECAUSE I'M THAT EXCITED!!!" Zedd captioned his post.
Gomez's caption was a little more subdued, simply writing, "#IWantYouToKnow 2/23 @zedd."
Gomez and Zedd have worked closely on the project and caused many to speculate whether they have more than a professional or even friendly relationship. The former Disney star has posted several cute photos of the two hanging out and acting goofy together recently.
The German music producer told Billboard last fall that he's always looking for the right voice to his tracks and Gomez apparently fit the bill for this one.
"When it's about getting a singer for my tracks, it is strictly about the voice. I will have created a song and have a specific idea in my head about what kind of vocal texture I want on it," Zedd said.
Both Gomez and Zedd have said they are working on new albums, but neither has announced anything concrete.
