Mavis the kitten, who was orphaned after her mom was hit by a car, was saved by an awesome human who cleaned her and found her the forever home she deserves.

When Imgur user Wdawh rescued the kitten, which was named Mavis after the famous Blues singer Mavis Staples because she "had a set of lungs" that made her heard by anyone in the apartment.

At Wdawh's house Mavis got a bath to rid her of fleas and was bottle fed around the clock.

While Mavis was at Wdawh's house, she found a surrogate parent in Milton the cat.
