Iggy Azalea announced that she is planning to postpone her "The Great Escape Tour" just one month before it was set to begin.

The singer's label announced in a statement that the tour is being postponed because of production delays.

"To accommodate for creative team availability and tour production plans, it was determined that the tour will not be ready this Spring. It is extremely important to Iggy that she delivers the show she envisaged to share with her fans and that requires more time in development."

Earlier this week The Wrap reported that the tour was in jeopardy because "Azalea has become disengaged from her core team" and "will not commit to press opportunities crucial in selling the massive effort."

Azalea denied these claims to The Billboard shortly afterward.

Although some fans may be upset that Azalea is pushing back the tour, the "Fancy" singer assured her Twitter followers that this postponement will be well worth the wait.
