Talk about a criminal offense.

Taylor Schilling, who stars on the hit Netflix show "Orange Is the New Black," admitted that she has never watched the award-winning series.

"I actually have not watched the show yet," Schilling told ET Canada. "My plan going into shooting the next season is to make sure and watch 1, 2 and 3, so I have a lot of television watching to do."

The Emmy-nominated actress plays Piper Chapman, who is sentenced to 15 months in prison for transporting money for her drug-dealing girlfriend. Her character is based on the real-life experiences of Piper Kerman, who spent 13 months in jail on money-laundering charges.

Schilling also said the success of "OITNB" has brought her a number of new acting opportunities.

"The thing that's most exciting right now is that it feels like there is more opportunities for me to do work and be involved with projects that I'm excited about," she said.

The 30-year-old actress stars next in the new movie "The Overnight" opposite Adam Scott and Jason Schwartzman. The film will premiere on June 19.

"Orange Is the New Black" returns for a third season on June 12 on Netflix.
