Florida's newest attraction might just be the dream destination for kids who grew up playing with Lego toys.

From the outside, the Legoland Hotel may look like it was built using actual Lego bricks, if not for building regulations. Located in between Tampa and Orlando in Florida, the theme hotel, which officially opened its doors on May 15, has 152 rooms, divided into four sections following the different types of play sets: adventure, friends, kingdom and pirates.

The kid-friendly atmosphere is noticeable all around the hotel, as rooms are designed with a lot of play areas. A regular room is featured with a king-sized bed for the adults, but there is a separate area with bunk beds for the children. The rooms can accommodate up to five people, but the VIP areas can have up to nine occupants, according to The Huffington Post.

Elevators in the hotel blast disco music through the speakers, while the space is adorned with sparkling disco balls. The hotel lobby has a Whoopee cushion, which the children can enjoy, while the hotel pool is littered with floating Lego bricks. The dining area's buffet line is also featured with a kid-height access.

Room rates at the Legoland Hotel begin at $179 when purchased online, but the tab can go high, up to $300 a day, especially during the summer season, according to The Tampa Bay Times.

An overnight stay offers lots of activities for families, as the hotel staff organizes treasure hunts and building competitions, according to the Daily Mail.

The hotel is the latest addition to Legoland, which opened four years ago. The theme park already has a Duplo play area, a Miniland, a Star Wars attraction and a water park.

Later this summer, the park will open its Heartlake City attraction featuring characters from Lego Friends, The Tampa Bay Times reported. By the end of the year, the park will also set up another attraction based on the blockbuster "Lego Movie."
