Instagram redesigned its website featuring a flatter and cleaner design with a modern look, less clutter and better user interface, DailyDot reported.
Instagram announced the update via its Facebook Page, saying: "This week, we're updating the look and feel of Instagram on web. We've redesigned Instagram profiles, feeds and hashtag pages to be cleaner and faster."
Although Instagram is a photo-sharing app with a mobile-first platform, some would take a look at photos using a computer but the web experience of Instagram was a bit underwhelming.
The new interface has a clean and flatter design which is easier to use and navigate. The design is an upgrade in line with the modern, flat design trend.
A noticeable change is the added white space as well as larger images. Instead of five images in a row, there are only three images. Porfile pictures are circular and the grid cover images are gone, The Verge reported.
Like on its mobile version, your feed will also have infinite scrolling, making image browsing easier.
