Ant-Man will make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut this summer, but the studio is already teasing his induction to the Avengers.
The new "Ant-Man" posters show the miniature superhero standing tall on the Avengers' weapons of choice - Captain America's shield, Thor's hammer and the Iron Man suit. Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) also make a short reference to the Avengers team in a new TV spot from Marvel.
"I think our first move should be calling the Avengers," Lang says to his mentor Dr. Hank Pym's (Michael Douglas). "I know. It sounded ridiculous even as I said it."
In the Marvel comics, Ant-Man was a founding member of the Avengers but with Pym in the shrinking suit. The older Pym will hand over the superhero responsibilities to Lang in the new movie.
Marvel announced last month that Scott Lang and his alter-ego Ant-Man will appear in "Captain America: Civil War," which will feature much of the Avengers lineup. The film has started shooting in Atlanta and will premiere on May 6, 2016.
"Ant-Man" will hit theaters on July 17.
