With Bob Saget officially signed on to "Fuller House," the Netflix series will introduce a new wife for Danny Tanner.
The "Full House" spinoff has added two new characters to join the original cast members, according to TVLine. The 12-episode first season will premiere in 2016.
The widowed father has finally remarried after things didn't work out with his only other serious girlfriend, Vicki Larson, who left town in season 7. His new wife, Teri, is a 40-year-old African-American woman and is described as "attractive, vivacious... and youthful."
"Fuller House" will also introduce Kimmy's ex-husband, Fernando, who is "inappropriately passionate." His has "quite the appetite" for the ladies, which led to the couple's split. Despite his wandering eye, Fernando remains a devoted father to their daughter Ramona and he's "relentless" in winning back Kimmy.
Neither role has been cast yet.
Teri and Fernando will join the new kids including DJ's two sons, Jesse Daniel a.k.a. JD and Max, as well as Ramona. All of the original cast members have signed on to reprise their roles except for Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who will not return as the youngest sister, Michelle.
"Fuller House" will start production next month.
