Bristol Palin is calling Miley Cyrus out for criticizing Christians in her Paper magazine interview where she also preached about having tolerance for everyone.
"While her nude photo shoot has attracted the attention of many, it is her hilarious tirade about tolerance that turned my head," Palin, the daughter of former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, wrote in a blog post yesterday.
In the interview with Paper magazine, Cyrus referred to herself as the least judgemental person ever, saying, "As long as you're not hurting anyone, your choices are your choices."
Cyrus, 22, was celebrated for encouraging others to use their voices - despite her comments against her conservative parents and Christian lawmakers.
Throughout the intervew, Paper magazine wrote that the "Wrecking Ball" singer referred to her parents as "conservative-a** mother f**kers."
Cyrus also went on to call Bible reading such as Noah's Ark "fu**ing insane," adding that, "those people [shouldn't] get to make our laws."
These statements were particularly offensive to Palin, who comes from a conservative family.
"Is it just me or does it seem more than a little fake that someone claiming to be accepting of everyone and everything would spew such judgment towards her own parents and their deeply held religious beliefs," Palin asked in her blog post.
"She wants everyone else to let her be 'free to be Miley,' but seems unwilling to offer the same respect to her parents and those who wish to live out their Christian faith."
