Utah Jazz RUMORS: Paul Millsap Targeted In Free Agency, Trey Lyles, Sam Dekker Eyed In 2015 NBA Draft

The Utah Jazz reportedly want to bring back Atlanta Hawks forward Paul Millsap in free agency this summer. Utah also reportedly is eying Trey Lyles and Sam Dekker with its No. 12 pick of the 2015 NBA draft.

Could Millsap return to Utah this summer? That's what the Jazz are hoping, according to Spencer Checketts of 1280 The Zone.

"Just caught wind that the Jazz will actively pursue Hawks UFA PF Paul Millsap this off-season," Checketts tweeted Friday.

Utah drafted Millsap 47th overall in 2006 and kept him until 2013, when he signed in free agency with Atlanta. The prospects of the Jazz signing Millsap, though, seem low. It's difficult to see the 30-year-old leaving Atlanta for a non-playoff contender in the ultra-competitive Western Conference, unless perhaps he wants money more than a title and the Jazz are willing to pay him a figure that no other team is.

The New York Knicks also have been linked to Millsap.

Checketts also weighed in on Utah's plans for the draft, naming Lyles and Dekker as the team's targets.

"Two names have appeared to emerge as potential draft day targets for the Jazz: Kentucky's Trey Lyles and Wisconsin's Sam Dekker," Checketts tweeted.

Drafting Lyles or Dekker with the 12th overall pick of the draft is well within the realm of possibility, with both players expected to fall in the mid-teens.
