Serena Williams meets Eugenie Bouchard on Wednesday in Round 2 of the 2013 Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati. The match is slated for 1 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream HERE.
World No. 1 Williams is looking for her third straight WTA title and her ninth of the season. After a surprising loss to Sabine Lisicki in the fourth round of Wimbledon, Williams bounced back and won at Bastad and Toronto. With the exception of Wimbledon, Williams has been dominant all season - she's 56-3.
Even more impressive, Williams hasn't dropped a set in her last 10 matches.
"For me it's always about constantly improving and never saying 'I did great and I can be satisified,'" Williams told the Associated Press last week. "I did great (winning the Rogers Cup), but what can I do better? What can I improve on? That's what I always strive for. When I get satisfied, and for a lot of players, the (playing) level goes down."
World No. 62 Bouchard has her work cut out. The 19-year-old Canadian is 22-17 this season with zero WTA titles in her career. She recently made it to the round of 32 at Toronto before falling in two sets to Petra Kvitova.
Bouchard advanced to the second round by defeating Monica Puig in two sets (6-3, 6-4).
The two have never met head-to-head before. Williams is the heavy favorite to win.
