"Cougar Town" shifted to TBS from ABC but there will be no change in the content of the show, executive producer Bill Lawrence announced at the Television Critics Association press tour Friday in Pasadena, California, according to "Access Hollywood".
Lawrence said the only difference would be that Courtney Cox will be baring more skin than before in the entire season.
"I want fans to notice no difference," he said, hoping that "eventually, when they're watching reruns, they can't tell the third season from what's in the fourth."
"There is one difference, I think I'm allowed to say... which is Courtney [Cox] did declare this year the year of her cleavage," Lawrence told reporters at the Television Critics Association Winter Tour 2013, according to "Access Hollywood".
Cox who plays the newlywed Julies Cobb admitted to having exposed her cleavage more often on the show.
"You will not see one scene that I don't show my boobs," she said. "You know what? I'm getting older, so I've decided at this point I'm taking less focus off the face, and focusing here (points to chest). By the time I'm much older, I will just be absolutely nude. I think it's gonna work for me, I hope."
"The big difference is we've shifted from Brian Van Holt not wearing his shirt all the time to Josh Hopkins not wearing his shirt all the time. I think that was probably TBS' only big note," Lawerence said.
Cox recalls on one event when she is naked to keep her marriage "alive." Cox ties knot with Josh Hopkins, who plays the role of Grayson, in the Season 3. "One day, in trying to keep our marriage alive, we have an event," Courtney told the reporters, according to Access Hollywood. "We have 'Naked Day,' you know, where you spend the whole day naked? But there happens to be only one spot in the house that I can stand in where the light comes from all angles. You step out of it? Disgusting. That was one of our things that we did."
The show premiers its fourth season Jan. 8, at 10 PM ST/ PT on TBS.
