Man Appears to Smuggle a Bag Into Clinton Correctional Facility During Live Fox News Broadcast [VIDEO]

Richard Matt and David Sweat have been all over the news since they escaped from Clinton Correctional Facility in upstate New York nine days ago.

Their whereabouts are still unknown, but the successful breakout has put Clinton Correctional Facility in the national spotlight, thanks in part to Joyce Mitchell, a former employee of the prison who allegedly helped Matt and Sweat plan the escape.

What occurred during a live Fox News broadcast on Friday evening isn't helping the prison's shaky reputation either.

In the video of the broadcast, which was first uploaded to Vidme, Fox News' Molly Line is reporting live from the walls outside of Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora, N.Y. on Greta Van Susteren's show. A man in the background of the shot can be seen walking towards the wall with what appears to be a bag. He stops and connects the bag to a rope that seemingly is coming from the other side of the wall. After the bag is pulled up, the mystery man simply walks away.

Check out the video below.

The video has since gone viral. Van Susteren took to Twitter to deny the rumors that it was contraband and told viewers at the end of the broadcast that what Fox's camera caught was a "legitimate delivery."
