Ashley Greene and most Hollywood actresses are receiving major mixed signals when they audition for roles these days.
"Everyone has a different perception of what they think perfect is, and you're never going to be able to please everyone," the 28-year-old Greene told Health magazine. "There's always going to be pressure. Anyone who doesn't feel pressure is a really good liar."
She added, "You're always going to be too skinny or too fat or too muscular, and I've gotten every single one of those."
The "Twilight" alum covers the July/August issue and shows off her flat tummy in jeans, a striped crop top and red jacket. The actress has received many labels for her personal appearance over her career, but she's now more focused on impressing people with her acting skills rather than the way she looks.
"At this point, I care more about what people are saying about my acting than what I look like," Greene said. "When I started and got 'Twilight,' I think I was 20, and I was more impressionable. Now I'm 28, and if people are unhappy with the way I look, then they can be unhappy."
Greene isn't skimping on her daily workouts though. She trains hard going on hikes, circuit training and kickboxing.
"It's one of the most intense things because at a certain point you just stop thinking and react," she said about her kickboxing workout. "It's a great way to get out aggression."
Greene will next star in "Bury the Ex" as a jealous ex-girlfriend who comes back from the dead. The film premieres in theaters this Friday, June 19.
