Ryan Guzman is living proof that hard work and determination actually pays off.
The 27-year-old "Boy Next Door" actor has been sharing photos of himself getting ready for his yet-to-be-announced role on NBC's "Heroes Reborn." Guzman posted a shirtless photo on Instagram showing off his toned physique and revealed that he gained 21 pounds in three months.
"Progress selfie," he captioned the photo with the hashtags, "#3months #21lbsgained #hardwork #TheWorkDoesntStopHere."
Last week, the actor posted a picture that showed a handful of vitamins and protein supplements along with two big containers of protein powder, with the caption, "Trying to be healthier but damn I wish these were skittles..."
Guzman, who is also nominated for Choice Male Hottie in this year's Teen Choice Awards, also posted a selfie of himself.
"Been hittin this gym up every day, for almost three months now. I've gained 18lbs so far. I'm starting to really like the changes I see and feel. #nothingcomeseasy #progress," Guzman captioned his photo.
Guzman will star in the miniseries alongside actor Zach Levi and Greg Grunberg. Entertainment Weekly confirmed the return of Jack Coleman (Noah Bennet/the Horn-Rimmed Glasses), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura) and Jimmy Jean-Louis (The Haitian/Rene).
