Nicole Richie has a very daring physical appearance with her constantly changing colorful hair and tattoos, but there are a few tattoos she completely regrets getting.
Now that she's chopped her hair off and dyed it pink, the tattoo on the back of her neck with her last name and a little red bow is fully exposed, according to PEOPLE StyleWatch.
When it comes to piercings and tattoos, she hasn't really changed much since she was younger, but she wishes she didn't do some of it at all in the first place.
"I have a few tattoos, but I haven't gotten a new one since I was 21," she told Into The Gloss. "I was a 19-year-old idiot when I got this tattoo on the back of my neck. You can see it now with the short hair but people aren't asking about it, which is nice."
When it comes to piercings, she has nine in her ears and always takes care of them "with saltwater and prayers" because they "definitely have their issues." But she admits to never wanting to get anymore of either.
"If I could give advice to my younger self," she continued. "I would say, 'You just got to do your thing and keep it chill. Just get one look down and when you get over it, then change it.' That's all. Oh, and don't over tweeze your eyebrows."
Richie also admitted to E! News last year that she regrets the tattoo on her wrist also. This one says the word "virgin" in calligraphy.
"I am a Virgo so when I was 16 I thought, 'Ooh I'm going to be different and I'm going to put 'virgin,' because the Virgin is the sign for Virgo,'" she said about the tattoo. She admits that it's "embarrassing and desperate."
In 2013, the actress also went to a tattoo removal clinic during an episode of her web series #CandidlyNicole. In this particular episode, she was curious to see how hard it would be to remove her "tramp stamp."
