New York Knicks guard Iman Shumpert will appear in First Lady Michelle Obama's upcoming hip-hop album. The album features Shumpert on the track, "Pass the Rock," the Daily Beast reports.
Entitled "Songs for a Healthier America," the album is part of Mrs. Obama's "Let's Move!" campaign to end childhood obesity. The record will have 19 tracks and is expected out next month.

Other artists featured on the album include Jordin Sparks, Ashanti, Doug E. Fresh, Los Barkers, The Happiness Club and Babi Floyd.
Shumpert, a Chicago native, has forayed into rap before. He released a mixtape last year entitled, "The3 #Post90s," according to NBC. He also released a track on Youtube earlier this week in response to Kendrick Lamar calling himself the king of New York.
"In response to Kendrick verse...he is my fav rapper," Shumpert tweeted on Tuesday. "He can say what he wants. He is the BEST out. But ill still dunk his ass."

Shumpert, 23, was the 17thh overall pick of the 2011 NBA draft. Coming off an ACL tear, he averaged 6.8 points, 1.7 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game last season.
