Yesterday was a very special day for Michael Douglas and his family. The actor, 70 was presented with the Genesis Prize, which is also referred to as the Jewish Noble Prize.
Douglas and his wife, actress Catherine Zeta-Jones, brought their two children along with them to the ceremony in Jerusalem where Jay Leno hosted the affair.
The famously private couple posed for a family photo posted to Zeta-Jones' Instagram page including Carys, 12, and Dylan, 14, who are the spitting image of their famous parents. The children are hardly ever seen in public but were all smiles at the event. The actress captioned the picture, "So proud of Michael for being honored with @thegenesisprize. We're having an amazing family vacation! Happy Summer Everyone."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanuahu presented Douglas with the prize, which totals a whopping $1 million. The event highlighted the importance of inclusion for international families as well as Jewish people in Hollywood and on Broadway, according to the official Genesis Prize website. During his speech, Douglas vowed to help build a bridge between the Israelis and Jewish communities across the globe, according to The Spreadit.
