Dan Dotson and Dave Hester from A&E's "Storage Wars" got into a brawl on the set of the show in Palm Springs and the whole thing was caught on tape.
Dotson, the auctioneer, missed a bid on a storage locker and the producers persuaded Hester, who is a regular on the show, to let him know about his mistake, TMZ reported. When Dotson completely ignored Hester, things really started to heat up.
While Hester was confronting Dotson, the producers kept egging him on and became the reason the fight broke out. Since it happened on set, someone caught the entire thing on tape and the video was released this past weekend.
At one point in the video, Dotson's wife Laura tries to defend her husband and gets knocked to the ground by Hester. She then is seen going absolutely crazy over the incident.
"You're a son of a b-ch mother-ker," you hear her yell at Hester. "You like hitting a woman? You like knocking me down on the goddamned ground? He just throws me over like a piece of f-king s-t."
Hester was eventually kicked off of the set after security had to break it up and he was sent to the hospital for a tetanus shot since Laura scratched him, according to The Wrap.
The shows production has been put on hold but it is unknown if they will continue to shoot or not.
The fight has angered many fans that believe it was done strictly to get ratings up, according to The Inquisitr. Nobody really understands why the producers got involved in the first place, let alone egged them on.
Dotson is viewing this brawl as "an attack" and on Saturday, he sent an apology tweet to the shows fans referring to Hester as a bully.
"We're Sorry #StorageWars Fans! Violence is never the answer, it's not OK," the tweet read. "We were attacked & did what anyone would do. #StopBullying @AETV."
A&E has not made any comments on the incident, but sent out a tweet on Saturday promoting the show, as if nothing had happened.
"Get ready to score big," they wrote. "A #StorageWars marathon starts at 4/3c."
