With the summer finale closing in, “Teen Wolf is heating” up. Episode 11 beautifully set up next week’s summer finale.
However, let’s talk about one of the most important things episode 11 gave us because,
IT FINALLY HAPPENED!!!!!!!
The Stiles and Lydia—“Stidia”—kiss we’ve all been waiting for happened. Granted it wasn’t a crazy, romantic, stare-into-each-others-eyes kiss but it was still good.
So what caused the kiss? Well, Stiles was having a panic attack—and for good reason. The Darach now has the three guardians she needs to complete her plan.
As it turns out, Chris Argent was the last guardian. Chris, Allison and Issac all return to the exact same spot where we first saw Scott’s eyes turn red. However, once they arrive in the giant vault, Chris takes out Issac and handcuffs his own daughter to a pole. And in comes Jennifer right on time as Chris surrenders himself. If he was attempting to rescue Mr. Stilinski and Mrs. McCall from the inside—he failed. The Darach took all of his weapons—and he had about six of them hidden on his person—leaving him with nothing with which he could successfully escape.
We find out, according to Alan, the only way to save the three parents is for each of their children—Allison, Scott and Styles—to sacrifice themselves (meaning die) for a short period of time. We are left with each of the three children being held underwater in ice baths—Issac holds Allison, Alan holds Scott and Lydia holds Stiles—as the screen fades to black.
In other news:
Derek gives away his Alpha power to keep Cora from dying.
Mr. Stilinski tells the other two parents that he always knew supernatural beings existed but he never wanted to believe.
Scott keeps the Alphas from killing Mrs. Morrell (meaning he’s still good even though he teamed up with Deucalion). During her encounter with the Alphas she reveals to Scott that their parents are being held in the nemeton.
An FBI agent relentlessly questions Stiles to find out where his father is.
Hopefully Alan’s plan works—or else someone is going to die, making for an extremely sad summer finale.
