‘Empire’ Stars Taraji P. Henson And Terrence Howard Go Head-To-Head In ‘Lip Sync Battle’ Promo

Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard usually foster musical talent as Cookie and Lucious Lyon on the Fox hit show, "Empire," but the actors show off their own talent in the new promo for "Lip Sync Battle."

Henson chooses to fake sing a Mary J. Blige song and then tops off her performance by bringing out the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul herself. "Who you rollin' with?" she challenges Howard.

The "Empire" patriarch counters by donning a Rick James-like wig and bringing in a set of back up dancers for his performance of "Brick House." "This is the craziest night of my life," Howard declares at the end of his song.

The "Lip Sync Battle" trailer also features first looks at Justin Bieber and Deion Sanders' showdown. The Biebs tackles Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train" and bites the head off a (hopefully fake) bat while Sanders gets down to "Play That Funky Music."

"Community" star Alison Brie channels her inner Nicki Minaj as she takes on Will Arnett, doing his best Lego-man impression for "Everything is Awesome." The rest of season one will also feature Victoria Justice, "Broad City" stars Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, Nick Young and Iggy Azalea.

"Lip Sync Battle" returns on Thursday, July 9 at 10 p.m. on Spike.
