Marvel TV Assembles For San Diego Comic-Con – ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ And ‘Agent Carter’ Hosting Panels

Marvel may be keeping Iron Man and Captain America out of San Diego this summer, but watch out for S.H.I.E.L.D. agents swarming the convention floor.

The San Diego Comic-Con will host a panel for Marvel TV and ABC shows "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." and "Agent Carter" on Friday, July 10. The casts for both shows will take the stage with Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb to reveal exclusive news and surprises for the upcoming seasons.

On Saturday, the casts for each show will meet with fans and sign autographs at the Marvel Booth. "Agent Carter" stars Hayley Atwell and James D'Arcy as well as executive producers Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas, Chris Dingess and Louis D'Esposito will sit down at 10 a.m.

The "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." cast will meet at 2:30 p.m. Fans can meet actors Clark Gregg, Ming-Na Wen, Chloe Bennet, Brett Dalton, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, Nick Blood, Adrianne Palicki, Henry Simmons and Luke Mitchell as well as executive producers Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon.

Marvel Studios decide to skip the most talked about comic-con despite having several movies on the horizon including "Captain America: Civil War" and "Doctor Strange." Last year, the cast of "Avengers: Age of Ultron" gathered in the coveted Hall H as well as "Ant-Man" stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Evangeline Lilly and Corey Stoll. The studio then held a separate presentation for its Phase 3 films in October at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood.

"Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will return for season three on Tuesday, Sept. 29 at 9 p.m. "Agent Carter" will premiere its second season in 2016.
