Bobbi Kristina Brown is not doing any better, and the family has made the tough decision to move her to hospice care.
The 22-year-old was found face down and unresponsive in her bathtub on January 31 and was put into a medically induced coma shortly after. She has remained in this coma since.
"Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate," her aunt Pat Houston told E! News Wednesday morning. "As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."
The Browns consulted with a top brain specialist while in Chicago last week, according to TMZ. They told the family that she had "no hope" of coming out of the coma. After a lot of thought, they have decided to take her off her medications and let her die in peace.
"She's skin and bones now," a source close to the Brown family told PEOPLE following the news. "She has been losing weight, she's been losing her hair. They were taking good care of her, but she has no muscle tone at all. There has been some worry that her organs are shutting down."
Just last week, following some rumors that she would be returning home, her father Bobby Brown's legal counsel confirmed in a statement to E! News that she was "not going home to die."
Her father even issued a statement of his own on Friday. "Unless you hear it directly from me or through my attorney, do not believe any words attributed to me," he said. "I am making decisions with Pat Houston and we are working together for the medical care of my daughter. Right now we are focused on Bobbi Kristina's medical prognosis and the criminal investigation. These are the priorities for us."
All of this isn't easy on the family, especially after her mom Whitney Houston was found dead in a bathtub surrounded by drug paraphernalia back in 2012.
It is unclear how long Bobbi Kristina will survive without any medical assistance.
