The 2015 NHL Awards were held in Las Vegas on Wednesday night and the evening belonged to Montreal Canadiens netminder Carey Price.
Price went home with the Hart Trophy (NHL MVP), the Vezina Trophy (NHL's Best Goalie) and the Ted Lindsay Award (NHLPA's MVP) after a stellar season in which he posted a 1.96 goals against average and .933 save percentage.
He escorted the Habs to a 110-point season despite team-wide possession deficiencies, which ultimately cost them in the playoffs.
At just 27, Price seems set for a long and extremely productive career in Montreal.
Elsewhere, Ottawa Senators defenseman Erik Karlsson took home the Norris Trophy as the league's best defender, Boston Bruins center Patrice Bergeron took home the Selke Award as the NHL's most outstanding defensive forward, Florida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad beat out Mark Stone and Johnny Gaudreau for the Calder Trophy as the NHL's rookie of the year, Calgary Flames winger Jiri Hudler won the Lady Byng Trophy as the most gentlemanly player and Stanley Cup-runner up Tampa Bay Lightning's Steve Yzerman was named GM of the year.
Oh yeah, and Dallas Stars forward Jamie Benn won the Art Ross Trophy as the NHL's scoring champ - sorta.
