Multiple reports say there were unidentified flying objects (UFOs) spotted near China-India border on Aug. 4, this comes on the heels of the United States confirmation that Area 51 exists.
According to DNAIndia.com, Indian Army troops saw the UFOs in "the Ladakh sector along the Line of Actual Control with China." Officials sent the report to army headquarters.
"There have been over 100 sightings of UFOs along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the last several months but this sighting has come after some time-gap," sources told DNAIndia.com.
The UFOs were described as "yellowish spheres [that] appear to lift off from the horizon on the Chinese side and slowly traverse the sky for three to five hours before disappearing."
However, the Defense Minister A. K. Anthony reportedly told Parliament there was no evidence of a UFO sighting over the Sino-India Border. The alleged UFOs may have actually been planets Jupiter and Venus in the night sky.
Officials did confirmed to DNAIndia.com that the alleged, "UFOs were not Chinese drones or satellites."
The sighting has raised suspicions, especially after the U.S. acknowledged the existence of Area 51, better known as the top-secret testing CIA testing facility during the Cold War.
The recent declassified documents refer to the testing site by the name everyone has used and sited for years, Area 51. However, there is no mention of extraterrestrial sightings in the documents. According to the Christian Science Monitor, Audrey Hewins believes the government is covering up what she, and others, already know exists.
"I'm thinking that they're probably testing the waters now to see how mad people get about the big lie and cover-up," said Hewins, a woman from Maine who runs a support group for people like her who believe they have been contacted by extraterrestrials. "We're hoping the CIA is leading up to disclosure" of the existence of space aliens on Earth.
"It's not something you can look at us and lie about, because we know that they're here and have been here for a long time," Hewins added.
