The summer premiere of “Teen Wolf” airs tonight and its shaping up to be a good one.
On the recently released sneak peek by MTV we get a glimpse into what we can expect to see. In the last episode we were left with Stiles (Dylan O' Brien), Allison (Crystal Reed) and Scott (Tyler Posey) held under an ice bath in an attempt to sacrifice themselves for their parents.
In the sneak peek we find out Scott isn’t exactly done with Deucalion (Gideo Emery). The two of them are gearing up to fight Jennifer/The Darach (Haley Webb) as a tag team. (This may mean that all the other werewolves have fought her and lost or their otherwise occupied—i.e. Derek [Tyler Hoechlin] and Kali [Felisha Terrell] still have to fight.)
Also, it appears Jennifer is either a little stronger than last time— or the lunar eclipse has come and all the werewolves are powerless—because she’s the first person I’ve ever seen to actually tear the combined twins apart.
In addition to beating the Darach, we’re all waiting for Scott to become a true alpha. Maybe a true alpha has powers we haven’t really seen from regular alphas and I personally wouldn’t mind witnessing some of them.
However, our true alpha hopes may be in jeopardy in the finale. In the sneak peak we see Scott attempting to push through a Darach barrier once again and once again his eyes begin to turn red. Unfortunately this time we hear Deucalion’s voice in the background:
Do it. Become the alpha you’re meant to be…Become a killer.
Let’s hope he ignores that voice.
The summer finale of Season 3 airs tonight on MTV at 10/9c.
