NFL Hall of Fame defensive tackle Warren Sapp is in trouble once again for an alleged incident of violence against women.
The 42-year-old former football star has been charged with three counts of domestic violence from an altercation with his girlfriend in April, according to TMZ.
Sapp attacked Chalyce Moore on April 28 at the M Resort in Las Vegas and is accused of biting and stomping on her head during the altercation, according to the New York Daily News. He is said to have thrown a drink in Moore's face and then dragged her nearly to the ground, either by her arm or a purse strap. The couple then took a car to Moore's apartment where Sapp bit her middle finger. The fight continued at the apartment, where Sapp is alleged to have stepped on her face while she was on the floor.
This is not the only trouble with the law Sapp has recently experienced. He arrived at a plea deal last month after he solicited a prostitute at the Super Bowl in February. Two hours after his arrest, Sapp was fired from the NFL Network. He was in town covering the Super Bowl for the NFL Network.
Sapp is due in court on July 23.
