'I Dough I Dough': Ben and Jerry's Renames Ice Cream To Support Marriage Equality (VIDEO)

Equality has never tasted so sweet. Following the U.S. Supreme Court ruling to legalize gay marriage nationwide on Friday, Ben & Jerry's decided to celebrate by changing the name of their beloved "Chcocolate Chip Cookie Dough" to "I Dought, I Dough."

The specially-named flavor will be available at participating shops in a commemorative pint sleeve for the duration of the Summer. If you don't live near a participating Ben & Jerry's but want the sleeve, they can also be purchased online through the Human Rights campaign, with all proceeds benefitting the organization, Huffington Post reported.

The ice cream chain also released a video to celebrate the occasion.

Ben & Jerry's has stood up for gay rights before, becoming the first company its state to offer health insurance to domestic partners of employees "including same sex couples, and we haven't spent one minute regretting it" in 1989, Star Pulse reported.

Ben & Jerrys renamed "Chubby Hubby" to "Hubby Hubby" in 2009 as a way to celebrate gay marriage in Vermont. It did the same for Australia with "I Dough, I Dough" and Ireland with "EngageMint Party" in 2013.

"Love comes in all flavors, and LGBTQ Pride Month is the perfect time to say it loud and say it proud, 'Love who you love!'" the company boasts.
