The Broaddus family has been forced to leave their new New Jersey house after receiving terrifying messages from "The Watcher," a mysterious presence that claims to be watching from an unknown location, threatening the family's children and professing to know their every move, reported New Jersey Advanced Media.
Shortly after the Broaddus family moved into the six-bedroom house in May last year, they started receiving bone-chilling letters from "The Watcher," according to PIX11.
Some of the messages threatened their children. "I am pleased to know your names now and the name of the young blood you have brought to me," one letter read. "Who has the bedrooms facing the street? I'll know as soon as you move in ... It will help me to know who is in which bedroom, then I can plan better."
"I asked the Woods (the previous owners) to bring me young blood," another letter read. "Have they found what is in the walls yet? In time they will." The unidentified stalker claims he and his family have been watching over the house for decades.
The family filed a lawsuit against the stalker and the family who sold them the property, claiming that they failed to inform them about "The Watcher." Police authorities have no important leads or suspects in the case that is creating headlines across the country, according to CBS New York.
