Rihanna duct taped Floyd Mayweather's mouth shut at the 2015 BET Awards, and nobody was really sure why.
During the show on Sunday night, Rihanna was seen with a roll of duct tape around her arm and it was unclear what its purpose was until the cameras were on Mayweather later in the show, according to E! News. The 27-year-old singer used the duct tape to shut the 38-year-old boxer up. She also tied his hands together with a bandana.
The two were seated next to each other during the entire show. Rihanna looked flawless in a cleavage-baring gold blazer with her hair in a long, slicked-back pony tail. Mayweather rocked a white jacket, plaid shirt and light pink pants.
Duct tape aside, it was a big night for the "Bitch Better Have My Money" singer. At one point the camera cut backstage and Rihanna was seen throwing money at Stephen Hill, BET's president of programming, according to Entertainment Tonight. They were spotted hugging later on, though, hinting that the whole thing was staged.
Rihanna was also seen singing along to ex Chris Brown's performance with Omarion, according to Us Magazine. The two closed out the show with their hit song "Post to Be" and Rihanna wasn't shy about knowing all the words.
The first official trailer for the music video to Rihanna's latest track "Bitch Better Have My Money" was also debuted this weekend, and she is seen in her full "bad girl" mood, as per usual. The full video will be released on Vevo on Thursday.
