"Bachelor in Paradise" contestants Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul are married. Us Weekly reported that the couple tied the knot in Mexico during the first day of filming for the upcoming season of the series—and, as expected, the host of the reality show, Chris Harrison, officiated the ceremony. Grodd and Faddoul met, fell in love and got engaged on the show. ABC had no comment on the secret nuptials.
The newlyweds have reportedly also remained tight-lipped about their wedding. Grodd did tweet a photo of his new wife getting her hair done with the caption: "Happy 1 year anniversary honey buns! Crazy to think I had a ring in my pocket this time last year without her having a clue. Whatcha getting ready for?" But the post was later deleted.
"We actually really want to customize our wedding to contribute to the Bachelor Nation. And, so, we're planning in the process and we actually are designing a perfume line," Faddoul told Us Weekly in January 2014. "My perfume is actually what I'll be wearing on my wedding day so I'm really excited about that."
She added that her guest list might include "Clare Crawley, Michelle Money, there are several 'Bachelor' people who will definitely make the list as well as our bridal party."
Contestants on "Bachelor in Paradise" are those who were eliminated from "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette."
Faddoul, a nursing home owner, competed on season 18 of "The Bachelor," but failed to win the heart of Juan Pablo Galavis. Grodd, a sports medicine manager, was passed over by Andi Dorfman on season 10 of "The Bachelorette."
"Bachelor in Paradise" premieres Monday, Aug. 4, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
