Just last week, Bristol Palin announced that she was pregnant with her second child on her personal blog. Now, following a lot of negative criticism, she's written another blog post explaining that this baby was planned.
Plenty of people were criticizing her for having another baby outside of marriage, and this really uspet Palin, according to Entertainment Tonight. On Sunday, the 24-year-old decided to set some things straight.
"So here are the things you should all get straight before you continue to mock me, judge me and talk about me," she wrote. "None of us are perfect. I made a mistake, but it's not the mistake all these giddy a$$holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned."
"Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family," she continued. "Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn't go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on."
This whole "life keeps going" thing might imply that the father of the baby is her ex-fiance Dakota Meyer since they called off their wedding just last month. Meyer also recently broke his silence since the announcement, slamming the media for overshadowing stories about terrorism. Neither have confirmed who the father of the child is, though.
"But I do not regret this baby," Palin continued to write. "This baby is not a disappointment and I cannot wait to be a mom times two. Tripp is going to make the best big brother!!"
Tripp is her 6-year-old son with her other ex-fiance, Levi Johnston. The two have been fighting a heated custody battle since they called of their engagement five years ago, but he shockingly still supports Palin during this new pregnancy.
"She's a great mom," Johnston said, according to TMZ. He said that he and his current wife, Sunny, will do whatever they can to help Palin raise this baby. He even revealed that he was sorry for her bad luck.
Palin knew she "would be completely crucified" for making this pregnancy announcement, but she's made it clear that abortion was never an option for her, with either of her children.
