PSV Eindhoven meets AC Milan on Tuesday in the first-leg of the Champions League playoffs. The match starts at 2:45 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream HERE.
PSV, comprised of young talent, are vying to qualify for the group stages of the Champions League for the first time since the 2008-09 season, Football-Oranje.com reports. The squad has played well so far, convincingly winning three league matches and defeating Zulte Waregem in the previous round.
PSV's Zakaria Bakkali and Park Ji-sung are uncertain for Tuesday. Both will participate in fitness tests before Tuesday's match, according to Sky Sports.
"If Park comes through it well, without complaints, he could play on Tuesday. The situation is different for Bakkali as we are more cautious," PSV manager Phillip Cocu told De Telegraaf, via Sky Sports. "But for both of them, I can say nothing definite."
The possibility of Bakkali not playing on Tuesday bodes well for AC Milan, which hasn't yet started its regular season. Despite the possibility of rust, Milan looked spectacular during an international friendly when it defeated Derthona in a 11-0 rout.
Milan's Mario Balotelli, who missed playing for Italy last week because of injury, is expected to play.
If history is any indication, Tuesday's match should be close. The two sides have previously met six times in the Champions League - Milan has three wins, and PSV has two wins. The club last met during the 2005-06 Champions League group stage, where PSV won at home and forced a draw in Italy.
