Actor Pierce Brosnan, better known for his role as James Bond, welcomed his third grandchild yesterday, the Huffington Post reports.
The action film star, 62, took to his Instagram page to announce the arrival of his new granddaughter, named Marley May Cassandra. In the sweet photo, his son, actor Sean Brosnan is seen holding his new baby girl who's sleeping soundly, all bundled up in a hospital receiving blanket. "My darling Sean With his baby girl Marley May Cassandra," Pierce wrote in the caption, "what utter joy to be her grandpa...beautiful life."
Sean Brosnan married his wife, film producer Sanja Banic, in New York last year. The couple named their daughter after Sean's late mother, Cassandra Harris, who passed away in 1991 from ovarian cancer, according to the Philadelphia Daily News.
Pierce has five children, three with his late wife Cassandra: Sean, 31, Christopher, 42, and Charlotte who died at 42 from ovarian cancer. He shares two with his current wife Keely Shaye Smith, 14-year-old Paris and 18-year-old Dylan. Pierce has two grandchildren from his late daughter Charlotte, 17-year-old Isabella and 11-year-old Lucas.
It was an exciting week for the Bronsan family. Not only did they welcome little Marley, but Pierce's son Dylan also made his modeling debut walking the runway for Yves Saint Laurent in Paris.
