NBC will run "American Ninja Warrior" in place of the Miss USA Pageant on July 12 following the network's decision to cut ties with Donald Trump. The beauty pageant also lost its co-hosts Cheryl Burke and MSNBC's Thomas Roberts.
NBC will air the "USA Vs. The World" episode of "American Ninja Warrior" in the timeslot previously alotted to the pageant, according to Deadline.
The network announced on Monday that it was "ending its business relationship" with Trump in the wake of his "recent derogatory statement" about immigrants, in particular those coming from Mexico. The network has discontinued its coverage of the Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants, and the real estate tycoon will no longer participate in "The Apprentice" franchise.
On Tuesday, Burke announced her exit as co-host on Facebook. Roberts dropped out shortly after her, an NBC rep told Deadline.
"In light of the recent statements made by Donald Trump and the subsequent decision by NBC to cut ties with Mr. Trump, I cannot in good conscience move forward with participating in this year's Miss USA Pageant as its co-host," the "Dancing with the Stars" pro dancer wrote on her Facebook. "Effective today I have withdrawn from my duties with Miss USA. Although I will not be there in person, I wish all of the contestants much luck as I know how hard they've all been working over the last year to try and realize their dreams."
NBC Universal company Univision first pulled its coverage of the annual pageant after both its co-hosts and headline performer cancelled their appearances. Trump has threatened to sue both NBC and Univision, but has taken no action to file a lawsuit yet.
