Beyoncé spent a small fortune on chicken wings at Nando's in England. The "Grown Woman" singer reportedly spent $2, 261 at the casual dining eatery, E! News reports.
She bought her and her entourage 58 wing platters, 48 whole chickens, 12 veggie burgers, 24 coleslaw orders and 24 rice orders. Wow! A receipt with the name "Beyoncé K" was posted on Twitter by one of the restaurant employees.
Even though employees at Nando's didn't get to see the superstar in person- the order was placed over the phone and someone else picked it up - they were still excited the Queen B herself would be eating their food, the Daily Mail reports. Several of the workers took to Twitter to share their excitement.
A source form Nando's confirmed to the Daily Mail that it was in fact Beyoncé and her team who ordered the food but said: "We never discuss the identity of our customers for reasons of privacy."
Blue Ivy's momma seems like she is becoming a regular at the chicken joint. A couple months ago she dropped over a thousand dollars on chicken, rice, cornbread, corn, coleslaw and wings.
Beyoncé was in the U.K. performing at the V Festival over the weekend. Even though she clearly enjoyed her night things started off rocky for the "Diva" singer. On Saturday she opened up as the headliner for the Festival and was booed when she started her concert 20 minutes late, MSN Entertainment reports. She didn't let the jeers get to her and walked out on stage ready to have a good time.
"Thank you all so much for waiting in the rain," she said. "Now let's have some fun in the rain. It feels good doesn't it?"
