Rihanna finally dropped the music video for her hit single "Bitch Better Have My Money" last night, and it is action packed. The video plays more like a mini-movie complete with violence, horror, nudity and torture. It is a very literal interpretation of the song and shows Rihanna trying to get back what was taken from her - her money.
Co-directed by Rihanna and MegaForce, the video starts off with Rihanna kidnapping a wealthy woman and putting her in a large trunk. Riri and her kidnapping crew take the "Bitch" to a warehouse and a motel where they torture her, chainsaw and all.
In a shocking twist it is revealed that the kidnapped woman is the wife of her accountant. He was the one stealing her money all along! The video ends in a scene that looks like it was taken straight out of "Dexter" with Rihanna naked in a plastic-covered room, getting ready to kill the man that took her money.
Rihanna came up with the concept for the music video eight months ago and has been working on the project ever since.
"Bitch Better Have My Money" is the second single off Rihanna's as-yet-untitled eighth album. Released back in March, "BBHMM" followed the album's lead single "FourFiveSeconds," an acoustic collaboration with Kanye West and Paul McCartney that will also appear on West's forthcoming album, according to Rolling Stone.
