Serial Stowaway: Woman Arrested Twice In Less Than 24 Hours For Sneaking On Airplanes Without Ticket

A woman who had been arrested multiple times for sneaking onto planes without a ticket has been arrested again at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago, Ill.

The woman, 63-year-old Marilyn Hartman, was charged with criminal trespassing and for having violated her bond for prior charges that she had faced, Chicago Police said, according to the Associated Press.

This incident comes less than 24 hours after she was also arrested at Midway International Airport for causing a disturbance while inside the cabin of a Southwest Airline plane bound for LaGuardia Airport, instead of sneaking onto the aircraft.

Hartman was then charged with one count of misdemeanor reckless conduct for causing a disturbance.

Though it was not specified as to what kind of disturbance, she did have a ticket to board the plane, said the Chicago Police News Affairs said, NBC Chicago reported.

The "serial stowaway" has now made a total of 13 known failed attempts to try to sneak on a plane without a boarding ticket since last year.

Hartman has spent two months of jail time after she was arrested five times for attempting to get past security during March, April and May of this year, according to the Daily Mail.
