Billy Joel has married for the fourth time. Joel, 66, married his girlfriend of six years, Alexis Roderick, 33, at his sprawling Long Island estate, surpring the guests there while celebrating the couple's annual Fourth of July party.
The singer's spokesperson confirmed the happy news in a statement to People.
The intimate ceremony was presided over by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who is a longtime friend of Joel's.
Joel's daughter, singer-songwriter Alexa Ray and actor Kevin James were among the attendees who witnessed Joel and Roderick exchanging vows, according to People.
The couple's wedding comes after their April announced that Alexis was pregnant with their first; the baby, reported to be a girl, will arrive during the summer.
Joel and Roderick, who previously worked as an adviser to Morgan Stanley, first met at a restaurant and have lived together in New York City once they started dating, according to Hello! Magazine.
One of the singer's ex-wives, Christie Brinkley, whom he separated from back in 2009, sent his congratulations and well wishes to the newlyweds online, according to CNN.
