Miguel On Frank Ocean: ‘I Genuinely Believe That I Make Better Music’

In 2013, Frank Ocean won the Best Urban Contemporary Album Grammy over Miguel and Chris Brown. At the time, both artists refused to give Ocean credit for his win. Two years later it seems as though Miguel's feelings have not changed. "To be completely honest-and no disrespect to anyone-I genuinely believe that I make better music, all the way around," Miguel told The Sunday Times about Ocean.

Miguel and Ocean will likely be in a Grammy race again this year, as Miguel has just released his third album "Wildheart," and Ocean has promised new music this July, according to Billboard.

The "Chanel Orange" singer posted a picture to his Tumblr and captioned the photo "I got two versions. I got twoooo versions. #ISSUE1 #ALBUM3 #JULY2015 #BOYSDONTCRY." Ocean has not released any new music since 2012 and his album is set to be one of the biggest releases of this year. He has not yet responded to Miguel's comments but he usually lets his music speak for itself.
