Federal authorities raided the home of Jared Fogle, the Subway pitchman who lost 245 pounds eating the chain's sandwiches, in search of child pornography.
The Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children task force conducted the raid early Tuesday morning at Fogle's residence in Zionsville, Indiana, according to WTHR.com. Authorities kept the weight loss celebrity detained outside during the search.
The task force removed electronics from the house and analyzed them inside the mobile forensics van parked in the driveway. Fogle's wife and children left shortly before the raid took place, and authorities have not placed Fogle under arrest.
The raid follows the arrest of Russell Taylor, the executive director of Fogle's Jared Foundation, after a similar search at his home in April turned up more than 400 illicit videos of child pornography, according to the New York Daily News. He reportedly recorded all the footage in his home or former homes between 2012 and 2015.
Investigators arrested Taylor immediately outside his home. He then tried to commit suicide while still in jail in May.
Fogle said in a statement at the time that he "was shocked to learn of the allegations against Mr. Taylor and effective immediately, the Jared Foundation is severing all ties with Mr. Taylor."
The Jared Foundation works to raise awareness about childhood obesity.
