Kelly Clarkson shrugged off rumors of her pregnancy after a Virginia radio station mistakenly reported the news, but revealed plans of an intimate wedding.
Kelly Clarkson followed up on a statement she made to People Magazine Wednesday by tweeting a straight and simple message to more than 7 million fans on her Twitter page. The Grammy-winning artist messaged that she is not pregnant!
FYI ....Brandon & I are getting married & no I am not pregnant. We are eloping for one reason only. We both want an intimate ceremony.

The pregnancy rumors surfaced on the web after a Virginia radio station erroneously tweeted that the singer was pregnant. But Clarkson decided to tell her fans the truth. "FYI ....Brandon & I are getting married & no I am not pregnant. We are eloping for one reason only. We both want an intimate ceremony," she tweeted late on Thursday.
The Texas-born singer announced her plans for a simple wedding rather than a grand ceremony in an interview with People. The couple said they were happy to have a private small ceremony rather than a media circus, hence their decision to "have an intimate moment that's special."
"We are so busy that we finally just came to terms the other night and were like, 'So, we change our minds and we want to elope," Clarkson told People. "We just got so overwhelmed by it-the decisions."
Clarkson and talent manager Brandon Blackstock got engaged in December last year after knowing each other for years and dating since February 2012. The engaged-couple had planned a wedding in October this year, but with the way things are turning out we may come across news of their intimate wedding some time soon.
