Newly single "America's Got Talent" host Nick Cannon got a lesson in proper kissing technique on last night's episode from passion and intimacy expert Joanna Kennedy.
Kennedy stepped out on the stage of the talent show in front of judges Howard Stern, Heidi Klum, Mel B (aka Scary Spice) and Howie Mandel in sparkly silver heels with a red and black color block knee-length dress. She introduced herself and what she does, Entertainment Weekly reported.
"I help put the hot and happy back in romantic relationships," Kennedy explained. "And I'm going to teach everybody in the audience how to have a great kiss."
She explained that sensual, slow, anticipation-building kisses are better than ones that use too much tongue, then asked for a volunteer for her lesson. Stern volunteered recently single Cannon, whose divorce from singer Mariah Carey was finalized earlier this year. Cannon protested, claiming he doesn't need any help in the make out department.
"Listen, you are divorced," the outspoken radio show host replied. "Somebody didn't like the way you were kissing."
The expert brought out a blow up doll for Cannon to practice his technique on, but Cannon was against it. Stern made it his mission to find Cannon a willing participant from the audience, bringing back a beautiful brunette woman for Cannon to lock lips with.
During the coaching session, Cannon and the gorgeous volunteer's body language is tense and awkward, making it cringe-worthy to watch, and the uncomfortable factor raises a level when Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" starts playing through the stage speakers. Even hosts Mel B and Heidi Klum can't bear to watch the not-so-family-friendly kiss, covering their eyes with their hands.
