UFC Octagon Girl Brittney Palmer's Husband Arrested

UFC star Brittney Palmer's husband, Aaron Zalewski, was arrested for attempted murder, Bleacher Report reports. Zalewski's arrest follows an alleged brutal attack on the Octagon Girl at the couple's home in Los Angeles.

According to details in an exclusive report from TMZ that sites a Los Angeles Police Department report, a fight broke out on June 11 between the couple after Zalewski reportedly heard Palmer's casting agent call her "babe" over the phone. Palmer works as an Octagon Girl for the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and the model entertains the crowd in between rounds.

In the documents, LAPD stated that the argument turned physical when the couple wrestled over her phone. Zalewski realized Palmer was recording their argument and that's when he allegedly threw her, choked her and held her face down on a mattress while she struggled to breathe.

The ring girl told officers that she tried to leave but Zalewski wouldn't let her. She eventually escaped the house at around 1 a.m. on June 12 and called the police. Upon arrival, cops arrested Zalewski and charged him for attempted murder, spousal battery and criminal threats. He was later released on $1 million bail.

The Los Angeles City Attorney's office is now presiding over the case.
