UPDATE 2:08 p.m.
Major League Baseball has confirmed that Demi Lovato will headline the All-Star Game concert on July 11. She replaces Ariana Grande who had to cancel her performance due to "health issues."
"I'm so excited to be headlining the MLB All-Star Concert," Lovato said in a statement to E! News. "I hope my fans in Cincinnati are ready to get 'Cool for the Summer!'"
Tony Petitti, COO of Major League Baseball, also added in a statement, "Demi Lovato is one of today's best young artists and we know she will provide fans with a fantastic experience they won't soon forget. We're disappointed that Ariana Grande cannot partake in the All-Star festivities, but wish her a speedy recovery."
MLB announced the "Problem" singer's performance on June 15. She was set to perform with English pop rockers Rixton.
Security footage, obtained by TMZ, caught the 22-year-old Grande camera stating "I hate Americans, I hate America" when an employee at the Wolfee Donuts shop in Lake Elsinore, Calif. brought out a tray of pastries. It's unclear whether this event caused the pop princess to pull out of the concert.
HNGN has reached out to Grande's rep for a comment on her controversial statements.
The former Nickelodeon star performed earlier this year during the NBA All-Star Game Halftime Show with Nicki Minaj.
