Jeff Bridges' California estate has been put on the market for $29.5 million.
Bridges, 65, who many know as Jeff "The Dude" Lebowski from "The Big Lebowski," may be planning on downsizing from his beautiful villa in Montecito. His wife, Susan Bridges, says that the home sits on 19.5 acres of land and has more than 9,500-square-feet, according to The Wall Street Journal. The Tuscan-inspired home, which was built in 1988, is quite large with five bedrooms and five bathrooms. It also includes a music recording studio, guesthouses, a small vineyard and a greenhouse which Jeff keeps his aloe tree collection in.
"Jeff and his beloved aloe trees," Susan, 62, said. "They look like Dr. Seuss plants and require very little water."
They have been married for 38 years and have lived in this home since 1994 when they bought the property from musician Kenny Loggins, according to Fox News. It has been their primary home, and the couple even raised their three daughters there. Their daughters have grown up, which is why they have decided to sell this home. They have bought a smaller home in the area.
Suzanne Perkins, of Sotheby's International Realty, is the listing agent for this home. She said that it is rare to find a property of this size for sale in an area like this. It is the couple's first time listing their massive estate.
"The combination of rustic and refined exteriors give the home its personality and presence and bears witness to the ever changing architectural styles as Tuscan villas were added on to over many generations," the listing reads.
